1. Free Scholarship Programs vs Paid Certifications
Medha conducts two categories of academic examinations:
- National Merit & Scholarship Olympiads: These exams are conducted free of charge (âš0 registration fee). No payment information or authorization is ever requested.
- Paid Institutional & Certification Assessments: Certain advanced specialized tests or partner certifications may carry an nominal examination processing fee clearly indicated during candidate registration.
2. Voluntary Cancellation & Full Refund Policy
For paid examination registrations, candidates may cancel their application under the following rules:
- Cancellation 48+ Hours Before Exam Start: Eligible for a 100% full refund of the registration fee.
- Cancellation Between 24 to 48 Hours: Eligible for a 50% refund or a free one-time transfer/rescheduling to the next available examination window.
- Cancellation Under 24 Hours: Non-refundable due to pre-allocated cloud invigilation slots and server capacity reservations.
3. Technical Failure & Disruption Safeguards
We stand behind our technological infrastructure. If a candidate experiences a verified disruption due to:
- Platform server downtime or unexpected session termination during an active exam,
- System-wide proctoring synchronization failure preventing test submission,
Candidate Choice Guarantee:
The candidate may choose either an immediate 100% full refund or a prioritized seat in the official re-examination window without additional charges.
4. Ineligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- Disqualification for Cheating: Candidates disqualified by our AI proctoring system or human invigilator for using unauthorized aids, secondary screens, or impersonation forfeit all fees.
- Candidate No-Show: Failure to log in during the scheduled examination slot without prior written notice.
- Unsupported User Devices: Failure to satisfy the pre-communicated browser or webcam hardware requirements.
